Society Mains Workshop 2024
This workshop will primarily concentrate on honing answer-writing skills, particularly targeting the Indian Society (GS1), Social Justice (GS2) and Governance (GS2) sections of the CSE MAINS syllabus, which a major chunk of around 160 Marks. Participants will gain insights into various aspects of answer writing, including how to comprehend questions, identify different components within them, craft engaging introductions, develop comprehensive body paragraphs, and formulate succinct conclusions.
Moreover, the workshop will also delve into the nuances of each module, recognizing the specific preparation required for optimal performance. The primary objective is to equip aspirants with the ability to pen down effective, exhaustive, and multi-dimensional points, there by potentially securing additional 30-40 marks from these segments of the syllabus alone.

Welfare schemes for vulnerable sections of the population by the Center and States and the performance of these schemes; mechanisms, laws, institutions and Bodies constituted for the protection and betterment of these vulnerable sections. Issues related to development and management of Social Sector/Services in the field of Health, Education, and Human Resources. Issues related to poverty and hunger.
Workshop 03 - Governance
Government policies and interventions for development in various sectors and issues arising out of their design and implementation. Development processes and the development industry- the role of NGOs, SHGs, various groups and associations, donors, charities, institutional and other stakeholders. Important aspects of governance, transparency and accountability, e-governance- applications, models, successes, limitations, and potential; citizens charters, transparency& accountability and institutional and other measures. Role of Civil Services in a Democracy.
